The year 2006 opens up with many ups and downs. well.. most of them of downs anyway..but we managed to keep our head high and take it in our stride.

I've been stressed out with schoolwork and activities for the corps. i thought i could handle it but i cuoldnt and this lead to me doing rash things without thinking, eventually losing somebody very close to me...

lets not talk about it anymore..

I was in charge of the Silent drill squad with Sahibu as my superior. the silent drill squad was found at the end of the year 2004. founders are Audi, me and a few other specs. we founded it by chance! lololol..

playing Medal of honour in the Ops room is cool.

so anyway, we were practising and somehow, i sprained my wrist. first bad luck to come for the year. i was then out of the squad. i told our CO that i might be able to perform on the day itself but she just brush it off.

So i had nothing to do, so i just take my peak cap and walk around the tentage area. I dont think anyone has seen a SSG waering a peak cap in no.3 before. that was my own personal peak cap!

The next major event coming up for me was the supernumerary course also known as the 1st Advanced drills course/1st ADC. met alot of camp pinnacle friends there! Akmal was in another platoon but Halizah was in the same platoon as me! hahah..

we did alot of cork talking during the course and we had fun!

soon, it all pass and finally come speech day. the School's biggest event. i've always wanted to command the parade but ever since the results of the new usm and asm, i was kinda disappointed. i mean, everyone expected me to be the new usm and they all thought i had the material but i was selected.

at least charles voted for me.LOL
but i respect the officers decisions.

so i'll be carrying the unit's flag. i'm in charge of the flag party. during the rehearsals there was alot of cock up but the actual day went smoothly. after that, we went to celebrate! hahaha..in our No.1s!

after that, we were stepped down but not out of the unit yet. it was until on 14th july that we all passed out. leaving the unit behind.

There are many special memories in my tour of duty with the corps and i'm touched for what the unit has done for me and my life.

so all these will end.....for now that is..
